Retro clothing is the bomb! My favorite place to find it is Goodwill or any thrift store. Ebay is also a great place to find what you are looking for.

Matt we miss you guys. In the most selfish ways too... Here is some verse for you for your birthday!

There was a dear friend
with adjara red,
Who stole fair beauty,
and over worlds sped.
Long have the wind-ings
whispered his coming,
Long have the pray-ers
departed daunted;
Fallen to simple
selfish, light requests
For safety and peace
security, rest.

Forgive us dear friend,
and help us to see
That God is not tame
His ways show his fame
Whatever they be.

Well well the poet strikes again! Woot! The main reason for this post is to SHOUT OUT a very BIG and very LOUD salute to the one who is turning another year older April 1st!!

That's right... HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATTY COOKIE!

A purple gorilla with balloons should be showing up any moment at your door to sing... if not, the thought was at least there! :o)

Hope you have a wonderful celebration there dude!

God's richest blessings to you on this day as in every one He has granted you.

Hello Matt and Ruth!
I just wanted to say "hello" and let you know you are still in my prayers. And to pass on some interesting info.
First of all, I am somewhat technologically challenged, so I don't even know if you will get this message. I would love a confirmation that you did, if you have time.
A little update about me. I am now married to a wonderful Christian man and living in southern Georgia. He has his Master of Divinty degree from the Reformed Theological Seminary in Florida. And can speak and read Hebrew and Greek if you ever have any questions. And he is involved in a successful prison ministry here, as well as working as an engineer at Moody Air Force Base. I have recently been lead by the Lord to become involved in a postal ministry to the prisons. An older woman at our church now has almost 500 prisoners that she is leading in bible studies and I will be taking on some of her students. As news of her ministry has been spreading through the prison system here more and more prisoners are hearing the Word and wanting to learn more. "Praise God!!" I just hope and pray that I am up to the challenge. Just last month alone, 7 men professed salvation!
Anyway, enough about me. A couple of weeks ago we had a special speak in town. I don't know if you've heard of the writer -Joel Rosenberg. He has writen books such as Epicenter, The Last Days, The Ezekiel Option, and The Last Jihad. Some books are fiction and some are fact. Very interesting man. Anyway, while he was in town his parents were with him, who happen to be friends of a coupe who attend our church (Covenant Baptist Church). They have an interesting ministry, that you may be interested in. Or maybe someone you know. The mans name is Len and his wife is Mary. Their ministry in Ministry Architecture, Inc. He and some other men who are retired architects who offer there services for free world wide to missionaries in need of their help, planning and helping build buildings such as schools, churches, orphanges etc. They (Len and Mary Rosenberg) are wonderful Christian people with a wonderful ministry. Information for them: Ministry Architecture, Inc.

Check them out, and pass along the info if you know anyone that would be interested. And I know all prayers for their ministry would be greatly appreciated.

Once again, if it isn't too much trouble please let me know you got this letter. If not I will try another method.

Hugs and kisses to you and Ruth and little Joe. I love you all.

So Matt, have you read in the news what happened with the Pakistani cricket team? First they lost to the Irish on St. Patty's (that's no typo!)day, and then in frustration they strangled their coach to death a couple days later. I would say that they are sore losers, but come on, the death penalty? Maybe it is better to stay in the rocking chair and watch...

Heh. At first I thought it was intentional, but then I remembered what libel means... which didn't work. :P

'Twere I a real poet I'd claim that the typo was on purpose and I had some sort of deep, double meaning behind the libel/liable thing.

But I'm no poet, I'm Matt the Dork who can't spell to save his life. Woo hoo.

Duly edited.

Libel should be "liable", unless I'm mistaken.

"If it hits me square I’m liable to fall"

Otherwise (heh), I love it. I should read up on cricket.
